I have always had this make-up routine. Changing my foundation brand and product every 2 or 3 months. I feel like my skin gets used to it and that the foundation doesn’t have that new and fresh effect I am looking for anymore after some time. I guess this is the main reason why I change! 2016 began with Mac Cosmetics Studio Fix Fluid (£22), which I bought twice in a row.
I loved the full coverage aspect of this foundation. Then I changed for Nars Velvet Matte Skin (£30), which protected my skin with a soft-matte finish. The medium coverage was enough with some powder to finish the look.
Eventually I bought last week the Ideal Matte foundation from Esthée Lauder. I wanted to test this brand for a while (ok I was influenced by Kendall Jenner!) and I am not disappointed so far. The foundation is very light and soft, it is very easy to cover my whole face with a small amount of product. I barely add some powder since it is a full-coverage foundation, which makes a nice and sweet face.
Cherry on the cake: it smells deliciously!
